Nowadays, any Chinese can enjoy the luxury of owning a private car - if he or she can afford it. Having a car of your own means no more traveling to work on crowded buses or subway trains, and you can drop off the children at school on the way. Moreover, it also means that you can enjoy the weekends and holidays better, because with a car you can go to places where the regular buses and trains do not go, and so you can find a quiet scenic spot with no crowds.

However, there are drawbacks to owning a car. 一、注重音标的复习, 音形结合记单词。

音标是英语学习的敲门砖, 是学习此门语言的开始。音标的掌握对单词的记忆有事半功倍的效果。有人认为发音与书写是两个方面的内容, 其实不然。单词的发音与其字母的组成有着密切的联系, 通常一个发音对应一个字母或字母群, 因此当你在读出一个单词时, 拼写同时就映入脑海, 当然读音不规则的单词除外。根据读音划分音节, 注意观察与总结字母组合的发音规则, 是记忆单词的一种高效、快捷的方式。例如:

教师在课堂教学中, 应有针对性地对所学的一些单词的构词规律进行概括总结, 让学生对此类单词的掌握做到有规可循, 起到以点带面的作用。例如:

四、根据课本复习进度, 有目的地背诵单词。

在中考复习第一轮—课本复习中, 词汇复习是很重要的一个部分。教师可根据每个单元的话题和语法, 背诵其3a和对话或者听力材料, 然后让其默写, 既掌握了单词又记住了短语和固定搭配, 对作文的书写也起到了极大的引导和铺垫作用。

五、立足考纲, 突出重点, 结合中考说明大纲要求, 考查词汇。

二、阅卷中发现的问题

2015年曲靖市中考英语作文的命题,与教材联系紧密,许多教师还要求学生背诵过类似的范文。结合初中三年所学的知识,学生可写的话题比较多,如,环保、交友、拯救濒危动物、向身边的人致谢、做志愿者等。但在阅卷的过程中,笔者发现,紧扣教材写这类话题的学生较少,对于行文的重点“如何做”,很多学生东拉西扯,缺乏逻辑性。曲靖市接近7万多份考卷,其中内容精彩、立意新颖、表达流畅、无语法错误和拼写错误的优秀作文较少,满分作文仅有4篇,大部分高分作文集中在12~13.5分之间。学生在写作中主要存在以下几个问题:

1. 书写极其不规范

卷面不够美观,许多考生书写太随意,有的考生笔迹太轻,导致电脑根本无法清晰地扫描他的文章,阅卷老师也无法辨认其字迹;有的考生字迹潦草,试卷上出现了大量不规范的连写形式;有的考生答题时甚至超出了答题卡的密封线,这主要是由于他们平时没有养成写作文前先打草(腹)稿的习惯,写作文时更是随心所欲,缺乏计划性,导致文章前半部分单词的间距过大,后半部分又过于拥挤,整个卷面看上去不太美观。曲靖市的英语作文答题线共有13行,标题居中位于第一行,剩余12行为正文部分,只要考生事先认真打草稿或腹稿,前松后紧的现象是可以避免的。

2. 审题不清,文不达意

很多学生对题意的理解不够深刻,命题新颖、见解独到的文章较少。多数学生思维打不开,补充作文题目时只局限于试卷中所列出的几个范例,即Let’s keep healthy./Let’s save water./Let’s get on well with parents,导致所写作文千篇一律,缺乏亮点。“Let’s+动词原型”的句型,还有相当一部分考生没有掌握,以致试卷中“Let’s doing sth./Let’s water./Let’s environment./Let’s to do sth.”等带有语法错误的标题层出不穷。有些考生所写内容文不对题,标题是Let’s help others,内容却是如何进行环保等,令人啼笑皆非。

3. 作文层次不清楚

部分考生作文层次不清,从头到尾只有一段。中考作文最好写成“三段式”,第一段开篇点题,第二段分述,第三段总述。按“总—分—总”的结构组织文章,可以使文章脉络清晰,结构严谨,并且具有层次感。

4. 中式英语较多,语言表达不地道

很大一部分学生由于受汉语思维方式或文化的影响,加之对英语简单句的五种基本句型不够熟悉,创造出不符合英语表达习惯的中式英语。例如,“好好学习,天天向上”这个句子,很多学生这样表达:good good study,day day up;“我每天走路上学”,有的学生表达为:I every day on foot go to school;“我每天都吃健康的食物”,有的学生表达为:I am every day eat health food.

5. 抄袭试卷语句

试卷作文部分明确规定:“抄袭试题中阅读部分的,抄袭部分不给分。”所以,部分考生就从选择题,填空题中挑选一部分来抄写,而且书写规范,字迹工整,如果阅卷老师不认真阅读,甚至有可能被误判为二档作文。

三、教学建议

中考场上,学生在完成书面表达时出现的种种问题,不仅是学生学习上的问题,也是教师教学上的问题,值得我们好好反思。笔者根据多年的教学经验和参与中考阅卷的一些体会,谈一谈作文教学的一些方法,希望能对广大一线教育工作者有所帮助。

1. 狠抓英语书写的基本功

从学生入学后的第一节英语课开始,教师就要重点培养学生良好的英语书写习惯。在教授字母的时候,教师要在黑板上画出四线三格,然后再按照英语字母正确的书写方式进行示范,引导学生观察不同字母在四线三格中的位置。在学生掌握了26个字母规范的书写格式后,教师再向学生示范如何规范地书写单词,进而过渡到如何规范地书写句子。一开始,学生往往会忽视字母的大小写问题,常常会在句首用小写,而句中又冷不丁“冒”出个大写字母,而且句末经常不加标点符号。针对这些问题,教师可以让学生边念口诀边书写,如,句首大,句中小,句末要用号等。在学生学习英语的入门阶段,教师批改作业时,要根据学生的书写情况分类评价。对书写工整的同学,不仅作业要加分,而且还要将优秀作业在同学间传阅。对于书写较差的同学,除了鼓励督促之外,教师还要利用课余时间私下对其进行当面辅导。在初一年级,班上可以经常举办英语书写比赛,并把获奖的优秀作品张贴在橱窗中进行展览。试想,如果教师从入门阶段就注重培养学生良好的书写习惯,那么,三年下来,学生的书写一定会比较规范。也许有的教师会担心,这样做可能会影响上课的进度,但是,“磨刀不误砍柴工”,学生一旦养成了认真书写的好习惯,在以后的教学中,教师在指导学生书写方面花的时间相对就会少很多。

2. 整体规划写作训练

新教材对学生写作能力的培养进行了整体规划,各个年级的训练方法、写作内容和要求各不相同。从训练学生组词成句开始,逐步扩展到运用简单句的五种基本句型写简单句,之后再写并列句,最后过渡到写简单的段落,循序渐进地培养学生的写作能力。随着学生语言水平的逐步提高,教材为学生提供了各种有效的写作“支架”,逐步训练学生写出更多丰富多彩的句子,创作出更为完整的作文。到了初三阶段,学生已经基本熟悉写作的程序,不仅掌握了一些写作技能,而且还积累了一些与生活中常见话题相关的单词、句子,此时,他们已经具备了一定的写作能力。所以,九年级的写作部分不再提供仿写的范文,而是采用“两步走”策略。第一步提出与写作任务相关的话题供学生思考、讨论,并列出要点;第二步则根据具体的写作任务提供写作的建议、文章的框架结构、可使用的句型等。根据新教材的编排特点,从初一年级入门开始,教师就要有意识地让学生学会根据单元的话题进行仿写。在写之前,教师要带领学生梳理本单元的重点句型,并适当地让学生记忆课文中的一些优美的句子,在此基础上,再让学生把文章写在草稿纸上,自己反复修改或者同桌互相修改,课后再把作文规范地写在家庭作业本上。经过课堂上教师的讲解和梳理,学生的初步写作,同桌的交叉批改,学生课后在写作时就感觉轻松多了。这在一定程度上,大大减轻了学生写作时的心理压力,让他们不再对英语的写作产生畏惧感。如果教师教学每个单元时,都能持之以恒地采用这种教学方法,那么,不但让学生进一步巩固了本单元所学内容,养成了打草稿(或者腹稿)和认真检查的好习惯,而且还让学生综合运用语言的能力得到了提升。

3. 认真批阅习作,并着力培养学生的发散性思维能力

每次作文训练,教师都应认真批改每个学生的作文。如果每次写作训练前,教师都能按照上述方法在课堂上引导学生写作,并组织学生打草稿,自评加互评,那么,学生作文中的错误就不会太多,这在一定程度上也减轻了教师批阅作文的负担,教师只要留意学生的书写是否规范、单词拼写是否正确、能否正确使用重要的句型结构。对一些优美的文章和经典的句子,教师应归类整理后,统一印发给学生学习。同时,教师还应指导学生背诵一些优秀的范文。当然,在背的过程中,教师要进行合理的指导,切忌死记硬背,要引导学生对所背的内容进行拓展发散,做到举一反三,灵活运用。例如,2014年曲靖市中考英语的作文题目是How I Relax Myself,复习时,笔者除了让学生背诵该篇作文的优秀范文外,还引导他们训练类似话题的写作,如,How I study English/How I deal with my problems/How I become a good learner/a happy person/an outgoing person等,通过对同类结构的话题作文进行不断地拓展,学生的发散性思维能力得到了很大的提高。在以后的考试中,遇到类似的题目,学生不仅能灵活运用,而且思维敏捷,所写作文不落俗套,给人新颖的美感。

2015年曲靖市中考英语作文中也涌现出一些优秀的文章,题目抢眼,立意新颖,联系实际,充满了积极向上的正能量。这些优秀作文主要具有以下特点:

(1)题目抢眼。如,有的学生的作文题目为:Let’s learn to be a happy person./Let’s go to the old people’s home./Let’s learn to smile./Let’s face ourproblemsbravely./Let’sthankthepeople around us./Let’s enjoy reading./Let’s help others等。由于大部分学生写的都是诸如Let’s keep healthy之类老生常谈的话题,所以,评卷老师在批阅到标题新颖的文章时,往往会耳目一新。

(2)行文流畅,内容充实。这些优秀作文书写规范,卷面整洁,行文流畅;而且由于考生的英语基本功扎实,全卷基本没有语法错误和拼写错误,不仅能准确使用丰富的词汇和句型结构,有的甚至还能引用一些格言和名句。

(3)层次分明。这些优秀作文大都采用三段论的结构书写,层次较清楚,逻辑很严密,有一气呵成的流畅感觉。
