一、初中英语教材整合的原则

教材整合不能盲目根据个人喜好随意进行,要充分考虑课程标准的要求和实际教学的需要。N格兰特曾经在‘Making the Most of Your Textbook’一书中列出了教材重组与整合的4个原则:1.体现交际性原则;2.体现相关性和目的性原则;3.满足学习者需求原则;4.体现语言材料真实性原则。程晓堂教授在此基础上提出了教材整合的5点要求:1.使教学活动更具有可操作性;2.使教学活动的挑战性更加适合学生水平;3.使教学活动更加贴近学生的生活实际;4.使教学活动的步骤繁简适当;5.使教学活动的形式更加符合实际情况。

二、初中英语教材整合内容

根据教材整合原则,对教材进行整合包括内容的增删、调整和对内容先后顺序调整两大方面。

1.教材内容的增删调整。

(1)教材内容的增。教材内容的增可以指从其它教学参考资料中挑选部分内容进行补充,使教材内容体系更完整、更贴近学生的生活实际。以义务教育教科书初中英语八年级上册为例(Unit8 Natural Disasters),阅读文章是关于台湾大地震的,在实际教学中可以补充一些有关近年发生地震的内容,如日本地震、雅安地震和最近发生的甘肃定西地震等,这样不仅可以丰富教学内容,而且可以提高学生的学习兴趣,使教学更加贴近学生的生活。再如Unit4 Do it yourself中study skills板块内容是否定前缀un-,in-和im-,在教学中可以补充否定前缀dis-,和ir-等,使学生的知识体系更加完整。

(2)教材内容的删。这种调整主要将教材前后内容极其接近的内容删除,包括在前一册教材中已出现过的内容。如Unit 5的Grammar板块A部分,内容是情态动词may表示可能的用法,有关情态动词在七年级下册Unit 7中已出现过表示许可用法的内容,在七年级下册Unit 3 Comic strip板块出现过Maybe we can order a pizza的内容,句型中有了maybe表示“也许”的用法,教学时已经辨析了maybe和may be的用法,在七年级下册2次出现may的用法,所以八年级上册就可以作为复习,简略即可。再如,Unit 3 Grammar板块B部分主要讲授的内容是反身代词,而这一知识点在七年级下册Unit 5 Amazing things中的Reading板块中已经有所涉及,学生也接触过了类似enjoy oneself等一系列不同形式的有关反身代词的用法搭配,所以在这里只要作总结、归纳、复习即可。

2.教材内容先后顺序的调整。教材内容先后顺序的调整主要包括同一单元、不同单元以及不同年级内容之间的调整。

(2)不同单元内容之间的调整如八年级上册的语法重点之一是比较级和最高级,这些内容横跨了3个单元,Unit 1是形容词的比较级和最高级,Unit 2是数量的比较级、副词的比较级和最高级,Unit 3是as…as…的用法。如果分三3个单元讲教授,很难形成完整的体系,将它们整合在一起讲授,不一定要化1个课时,可以根据学生实际情况分几个课时连续讲授。首先从Unit 3 as…as…的同级比较再到形容词的比较级和最高级,同时穿插与之相似的副词比较级和最高级,最后到数量的比较,能更加符合学生的认知规律。再如,有关动词不定式的语法也分2个单元讲授,Unit 5的2个语法知识点may和动词不定式作宾语,是2个相对独立的语法项目,反而和Unit 6的动词不定式作目的状语和动词不定式作宾语补足语相关。之前提到的may的用法可以作简略处理,这样就可以将Unit 6的语法内容提前归类讲授。

(3)不同年级内容间的调整这类调整主要出现在对教材内容的浅层拓展上。如在Unit 6 Study skills板块的内容是后缀-er,-or和-ist,这个知识点与七年级下册Unit 2 Integrated skills板块的内容Different jobs相关,在七年级下册教学时可以适当拓展,这样再次遇到这个知识点的时就可以简略处理。

所谓的主语相当于汉语中的动作的实施者，谓语则是用来陈述这个实施者的，比如这个实施者是打、喜欢、还是跑等，宾语是实施者的对象，这个对象可以是人也可以是物，或者没有，所以对主谓宾简单句的把握，最主要的是知道主谓即好，对于相似的很难区分的主系表结构，笔者会在后面作简要介绍，为什么笔者觉得分清主谓很重要，笔者在以下实例中，会慢慢显示简单句分清主谓的价值，我们来看一个基本的简单句“she is a girl”，学生觉得很好理解，接下来我们再看一下这个句子的拓展“she is a very beautiful girl whose name is lily”，学生就很纠结了，不怎么抓得住这句话的重点，“她”、“漂亮”、“女孩”、“名字”、“lily”，这些信息在学生的大脑中是紊乱的，学生不知道哪些是重要的，特别是阅读理解当中，有些学生因为太过于纠结每个句子的信息，导致学生做题慢且正确率低，其实对一个句子的理解只要抓住主谓就行了，这句话的主谓其实就是简单句的“she”、“is”，这句话的重点就是“她是女孩”，名字只是附带信息，其他的冠词、定语、以及宾语从句其实都不重要，初中的学生一时没办法掌握这些，并没有太大的问题，一个句子有再多修饰和再长，只要学生抓住最核心的部分也就是主谓，那么对于句子的理解也就迎刃而解了，在应试教育的要求之下，教会学生对简单句主谓宾的掌握和理解，可以帮助学生在英语的学习上尽快上手，因为初中英语的大多数学习，多是基本的简单句或者是拓展。

简单句最基本的两种句式是主谓宾和主系表，其实这两种句式并不是要求每个学生都分的清清楚楚，初中阶段的学习，学生只要在掌握简单句主谓宾的基础上，记住常见的系动词即可，最常见的莫过于“be”动词，最好记的就是面部记忆，如眼睛“look”，鼻子“smell”，嘴“taste”，脸“feel”，耳朵“sound”，还有常见的表示变化的词，如“grow”、“turn”、“become”等，下面我们来看两个句子，能更好地看出主谓宾和主系表的区别，“the baby eats an apple”与“lt sounds good”，我们可以看出主系表结构其实理解起来和主谓宾是一样的，只是因为有他们独特的系动词而变成了另一种结构，但是这对与学生理解句子并没有太大的区别。

天体浴是人们裸体躺在沙滩上享受阳光的行为，在国外的一下地方，天体浴被认为是人们回归自然和享受健康的一种方式，然而这个在中国是个备受争议的话题。有些中国人开始逐渐意识到天体浴的好处，他们跑到三亚的海滩去享受天体浴。在我看来，我认为在中国，天体浴是不可接受的，我有几个理由来支持我的观点。

In the first place, naked in a public place is not allowed in the traditional Chinese morality, it can be considered as a morality undone. China is quite a conservative country, especially for the old generation. It is hard for them to take when they see someone lying naked on the beach and having a big enjoyable face. Besides, even for the young generation, it could be wire to see a bunch naked men on the beach, which is bad for them to set up a correct aesthetic, and might be hard to keep the fine traditional style of Chinese over the next generation.

第一，在中国的传统观念中，在公共场合裸体是不允许的，这被认为是道德沦丧。中国是个相当保守的国家，特别是老一辈的人。对他们来说，看到有人一脸享受地裸躺在海滩上是相当难受的。再者，就算对年轻一袋，在海滩上看到一堆裸男也是很诡异的，而且也不利于他们树立正确的审美观，还有可能不利于下一代保持中国的优良传统作风。

In the second place, celestial body bath is harmful to society’s morals. Sanya is a prestigious tourist attraction at home and abroad, thousands of people come to here to enjoy their holidays, lots of them are come from foreign. If our foreign friend saw the Chinese naked man on the beach, then our fine traditional style of Chinese fame would be ruined.

第二，天体浴有伤风化。三亚是富有中外盛名的旅游胜地，成千上万的人来这里度假，其中很多都是外国人。如果我们的外国友人看到中国裸男躺在海滩上，那么中国的优良传统作风的盛名就被毁了。

To sum up, celestial body bath is not acceptable in China, we should both think of the old generation’s feelings as well as educate the young generation, and keep the excellent Chinese traditional style.
