摘要：电气工程是现代科技领域中的核心学科和关键学科。随着科学技术的飞速发展,当今的电气工程涵盖了几乎所有与电子、光子有关的工程行为。学术交流可以促进技术进步,引领学科发展,学术论文则是进行学术交流的重要载体和途径。作为学术论文的重要组成部分,英文摘要不仅能清楚概括文章主要内容,有助于审稿人审稿,为文献检索提供便利,同时优秀的摘要还可以在国际间的知识传播以及学术交流与合作中发挥重要作用。本研究报告以电气工程领域论文的英文摘要翻译为研究对象,以目的论为方法,重点探索目的论指导下如何有效提高电气工程文章英文摘要翻译的质量。本研究报告具体分析了目前电气工程文本英文摘要存在的问题以及如何在目的论指导下选择恰当的翻译策略和方法指导翻译实践并切实提高英文摘要质量。目的原则是首要原则,强调英文摘要最重要的目的就是进行学术交流,目的原则的使用可确保词汇表达的准确和专业,这是进行学术交流的基础;连贯原则强调译文的可读性,在句法层面使用连贯原则可准确客观的表达论文研究成果,符合目标读者的语言习惯;忠实原则强调译文对原文的忠实,作为科技英语,电气工程文章涉及各种技术,定义以及数据,其英文摘要必须保证与原文的忠实,且符合科技英语的特点。研究表明,针对电气工程文本摘要翻译而言,在词汇层面,可建立专业的实时更新的数据库,专业词汇可从数据库查找。所有的翻译行为都要为翻译目的服务;句法层面,应根据英语语言规范和语言要求,特别注意汉英语在语态上的差异和转换,以被动语态为主,适当应用主动语态,而在长难句汉译英时,需要根据原文的先后顺序,按照句子逻辑,决定翻译方法,然后处理好某些成分的表达方法;语篇层面,句子间的逻辑需要厘清,然后通过一定的语言手段对各个语句进行连接,即通过衔接来实现,包括语法衔接和词汇衔接。电气工程的摘要语言具有较高的规范性,句子的表达存在一定的程式化,因此,目的论可以指导以电气工程为代表的理工类的科技文章英文摘要的翻译。
