论文题目：高中生英语文化背景知识现状调查研究
摘要：文化和语言是密切相关的,如果我们只研究语言,而不研究语言背后的社会文化背景,就很难完全理解和掌握语言。《普通高中英语课程标准（2017年版2020年修订）》指出教师可以采取多种措施围绕文化知识开展教学,包括有意识地帮助学生了解英国、美国等国家的文化背景知识,理解,分析和探讨语篇的文化内涵和价值取向。因此,本研究以高中生为研究对象,对其文化背景知识现状进行调查研究。本研究采用定量研究与定性研究相结合的方法,探讨了三个研究问题:1.目前高中生的英语文化背景知识水平如何?2.高中生在英语文化背景知识各维度的表现如何?3.不同英语水平的学生在英语文化背景知识方面是否存在差异?如果是,有什么区别?首先,本研究以天津市第四十五中学高二年级214名学生为研究对象,发放了测试卷来调查目前高中生英语文化背景知识现状。然后,对6名不同英语水平的学生进行了访谈来了解学生对英语文化背景知识的态度及造成现状的原因。通过对测试卷和访谈进行分析,结果表明:第一,高中生英语文化背景知识处于中等水平。第二,学生在地理,宗教节日,文学音乐和历史维度方面表现较好,但是在教育、政治、交流和跨文化交流维度方面表现较差。第三,不同英语水平的学生在教育、历史和政治维度方面存在显著性差异,并且高水平学生相比于中等水平和低水平学生表现得较好。基于研究发现和原因分析,本文对于文化背景知识的教学提出了一些建议:第一,提高教师和学生对文化背景知识和英语学习密切关系的认识。第二,教师应该加强教育、政治、交流和跨文化交流方面知识的讲解,以更直观生动的方式讲解文化背景知识,从而激发学生学习兴趣。第三,教师应该重视学生的认知水平,采取多种方式提高学生学习文化背景知识的动机。
