论文题目：一项高中英语口语教学中电影和TED资源应用的行动研究
摘要：面对中学生沉重的学习压力,在英语科目上,教师的注意力主要集中在阅读、听力和写作的教学上,而锻炼学生的口语表达能力则更被忽视。电影和TED演讲视频包含了很多丰富的口头表达和广泛的话题,因此有利于学生扩大词汇量,提高英语口语表达能力,达到更好的输出效果,增强学生说英语的信心。由于词汇量低、语调差,学生往往害怕在课堂上举手回答英语问题,更不用说参加英语口语活动,导致很多学生在学习英语多年后仍然说着“哑巴英语”。因此,教师们值得探讨如何通过探索电影和TED演讲作为良好的英语学习资源来激发中学生说英语的兴趣。从国内外研究人员的出版物和论文中可以明显看出,关于使用电影和TED资源作为高中生口语学习材料的研究相对较少。这项行动研究是基于建构主义理论和克拉申的科学理论进行的。笔者选取温州某高中的一班学生作为行动研究的课题,作为实习英语老师参与,展示利用电影和TED资源进行口语教学的有效性。具体来说,它打算回答3个问题:1)学生利用英语电影和TED资源进行听说练习的现状是什么?2)在高中英语口语教学中,电影和TED资源对学生学习有什么影响?3)在高中英语口语教学中,电影和TED资源对教师教学有什么影响?该研究从2021年3月到6月进行了四个月,除了常规英语课程外,还为学生提供了额外的听力和口语课程,涵盖了4个单元的电影和TED演讲作为学习内容。此外,行动研究使用问卷调查,访谈以及口语分数的预测试和后测试,表明使用电影和TED资源进行教学有助于学生提高口语水平,教师改善口语教学。对于学生来说,运用这种教学方法,使学习的态度更加积极正确,学习参与度更高,学习口语热情更高,学习能力提高。对于教师来说,它有助于教学口语,多样化和现代的教学方法,教材不再局限于教科书。
